Labyrinth features original compositions for jazz quintet and a 40-piece chamber orchestra. The album presents some of the finest improvising musicians in the world today (Ben Monder - guitars, Jacob Sacks - piano, Thomas Morgan - bass, Tyshawn Sorey - drums, and Jacam Manricks - saxophones and woodwinds) with lush orchestral backing on several tracks.

Labyrinth was recorded at Bennett Studios in New Jersey and released May 22nd 2009 on the Manricks Music record label. The album has received over 20 reviews in major jazz media magazines, websites and newspapers around the world.
